of coughing and heart attack ~

Let's say it's 6.15pm and you're driving home (alone of course) after an unusually hard day on the job.
You're really tired, and frustrated……

You are really stressed and upset ….

Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw.
You are only five miles from the hospital nearest your home.
Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far

WHAT TO DO???

You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that conducted the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself!!!

How to survive a heart attack when you are alone?

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing conscious

ANSWER:
Do not panic, but start coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.

A deep breath should be taken before each cough; the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.

A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.

Don't ever think that you are not prone to heart attack as your age is less than 25 or 30. Nowadays due to the change in the life style, heart attack is found among people of all age groups.

Stay healthy peeps. Happy Saturday.

saya sangat malas hari ni ~

Assalamualaikum

It's been a while since my last posting kan. Actually, saya sgt malas nak update sbb saya pun tak tau nak tulis apa dah ;p. And I've changed the template too. Pakai kale hitam kosong ni lg bagus. Sebab saya pun dah bosan tgk corak corak kale purple tu. Sebab apa saya bosan tgk corak corak kale purple tu? Sebab saya malas nak tgk corak corak kale purple tu lg. And saya juga berasa sgt malas sebab isnin depan semester dah bukak so kena pegi sekolah balik. And again, saya sgtlah malas nak pegi sekolah. And kerana sgt malas harini, saya tak mandi lg walaupun dah pukul 12.41 skrng ni. Ahaksss. In a nutshell, hari ni saya sangat malas.
Sekian.

Huish..tak tau la nak tulis apa. Citer psl pudding roti la since Nisa is asking me mcm mana jd tak the pudding roti that we baked just now. Erm..takde la jd sgt since we just campur2 everything. But, it's still edible and not too bad. Sedap la jugak. I also don't know how the pudding roti is supposed to taste, cuz I've never eaten it before. That's why I'm so eager to try this new recipe that Nisa' gave to me yesterday. Amende ni, my language is becoming tunggang terbalik. *ok ok stop writing*

taktaula-takde-title-entry-ni ~

Approximately 11 days before the new semester starts. My final semester here before going back home for good. I can't even believe that I managed to spend my 2 months of winter break without actually doing anything - anything that people would normally do during holidays *such as travelling, travelling and more travelling*. I realized that the only activity which I can consider as 'travelling' was going to the city. To the same place - Cirqular Quay, Paddy's, and Darling Harbour. Again and again. Yup, that's it. *Sungguh menarik sekali winter break pd tahun ini*.
Housemates, apa pandangan anda? We have a fun time staying at home, just the three of us. Right mates? ;p

Opportunity ~

Assalamualaikum / Holla
I managed to persuade my housemate to create her own blog too. Within few minutes, this girl managed to write five entries. Wohoo....*lawan tokey nampak*. Well, at least it's a good thing to do. Will try to persuade the 'other' housemate plak. Yes, I know you're reading this rite now *smiling*. Jom la, jom la *wink wink*.

Opportunity - Pete Murray

And so it goes another lonely day
Your savin time but your miles away
Your fly was drownin in some bitter tea
For seeing lost opportunity

Find your mirror go and look inside
And see the talent you always hide
Don't go kidd yourself well not today
Satisfaction's not to far away

Hold on now your exits here
It's waiting just for you
Don't pause too long
It's fading now
It's ending all too soon you'll see

Soon you'll see

Your coffee's warm but your milk is sour
Life is short but your here to flower
Dream yourself along another day
Never miss opportunity

Don't be scared of what you cannot see
Your only fear is possibility
Never wonder what the hell went wrong
Your second chance may never come along

Hold on now your exits here
It's waiting just for you
Don't pause too long
It's fading now
It's ending all too soon you'll see

Soon you'll see

Hold on now your exits here
It's waiting just for you
Don't pause too long
It's fading now
It's ending all too soon you'll see

*Don't be afraid to grab the opportunity in front and don't be scared of the possibility that you cannot see, instead have faith in everything you do. And, if it goes wrong for whatever reason, look back and reflect.

While I was chatting with my friend in YM, there was one ID popped into the window asked for my asl. I ignored it since I don't like talking to strangers.
And suddenly, he or she tibe tibe started cursing me with all those nasty words, saying that I am sombong. And, he or she even said bad things about my parents. WTH, what is wrong with this person?

Time after time ~

Time is what we want most but, what we use worst (William Penn)
This time, like all times, is a very good one, if we but know what to do with it (Ralph Wardo Emerson)
Life has been not so good for me these past few weeks. I think too much of holidays make me sick. I do like holidays especially after you have spend endless hours of lectures and not to forget completing tonnes of assignments in a week.

At this very moment, you would realize that, when you have so much things to do eg: assignments, classes, exams, tests and etc, you would wish to have extra times bcoz it seems that the times you have is not enough. Sometimes you wish that you would have extra hours so that you could have extra time to complete the assignments, extra time for studying for exams and etc. But now, at this moment, I wish the times would fly fast. It is so pathetic just to lazing around at home and it is sickening to do same stuff everyday.
Sigh.

Lumpy the Heffalump~

Lumpy

Meet my new roomate - 'Lumpy' the Heffalump.
My housemates bought this cute baby elephant for my birthday present. Yeaayy thanks guys. This cute 'lil baby elephant is adorable and he's gemok, makes him very huggable.

Owh ya, you might be wondering who is this Lumpy actually. He's one of the characters from Winnie the Pooh cartoon. You know the yellow bear with red shirt yg suke mkn honey tu. Lumpy ni kawan Winnie the Pooh la. And the word Heffalump is actually referring to elephant. Diorang ni pelat, they can't pronounce the word elephant properly, so it becomes 'heffalump'. Cute isn't it?

I love you Lumpy. And sorry to Adam and Willy, you guys have to share the bed with your new friend. Till then. Daa

Of blog and writing ~

I love to read people's blogs. Sometimes, I would spend hours on the internet just bloghopping from one blog to another just to read what they have written on their daily life, their thought or comment on certain issues or just writing crap on anything. It is weird b’coz by reading a single piece of writing from an unknown writer whom u just suddenly came across in the internet can make u think and realize. I've came across some blogs which I found very interesting, with thoughtful writing which make me realize or teach me something that I can't find in any academic books. And sometimes, even reading blogs which basically tell u about the writer's daily life can also make u smile and laugh. And it's fun.

I'm not a very open person in term of sharing stories with people.I'm quite a secretive person. I only talk or share stories to people whom I know well. But, after reading so many blogs, I found that, writing blog is not just to describe what u have done on that day to the rest of the world. It is a medium to express your thought, your ideas or anything that you may find interesting.

With that, I started to get myself a blog too. I used to have one before, with few entries, but I had deleted it. I don't know why. Maybe because I'm too lazy to write or I just can't think of any ideas to write about. Sometimes I think writing stuff of my daily life like, what I do today, what do I have for lunch and dinner, why I don't like this and that make people think its boring. It's like, 'who wanna know what the heck am I doing on that day'. So, I guess writing on that stuff is not a very good idea for me. But then, that's what blogs are made for. Well, for some people la kan.

Plus, each day I complain that my life is boring la, sick la bcoz I got nothing to do, and tadaa..
now I do have something to do. I can write. See..that's a good thing to do during my free time. Right? I think that's a good idea.
Don't u think so?
I think so.
After this, I'll put all the boxes, messages or whatever like those people put in their blog. Macam best je kan? I think so, it looks good. I'll try to do the same oso. Maybe later.

Disney on Ice ~

Just came back from watching Disney on Ice at Sydney Entertainment Center. We could see big crowds earlier at the train station with most of them were children. And all of them were going to watch the show. The kids were so lucky. I myself didn't have the chance to see / to go to these performances when I was about their age.

Well, it was a superb show. The characters were so cute and they were certainly good skaters. There were Mickey and his friends, as well as all the characters from Disney's cartoons. Love the part where Belle and Beast were dancing with other Disney’s princes and princesses.
Talking about the Disney's princes, I love Aladdin the best, although he was not really a prince in the cartoon. He's soooooooooo cute. Used to watch the Aladdin cartoon on TV3 every Saturday when I was young.
The show took about 2 hours and we came home straight after the show since everybody was hungry and sleepy.
Till then. Daa..

Blog revisited ~

My 2nd attempt of starting a blog. Used to have one before this, but was deleted long long ago. Trying to write thoughtful / meaningful things in here. Initially created for the sake of killing plenty of my free time.
